Show Summary & Resources
Show Title:
Agape' Island
Written by: Lee Hotovy
Music by: Anna Hanselmann
Director: Elizabeth Sobczyk
Assitant Director: Mary Ryan
Technical Director: Mike Zazick

Show Type:
This is a 30 person cast with a comedic theme.

Synopsis:
Seven castaways find themselves shipwrecked on a deserted island. However, much to their surprise, they find the island isn’t deserted at all, but rather home to many “fictional” island characters, including pirates, mermaids, misfit toys, Captain Fork, Peter Pain, Stinker Bell, the lost children, and even the Dread Pirate Roberto. Following a humorous storyline, much like Gilligan's Island, the castaways come to understand what true love is all about. They are able to see their own faults mirrored through the actions of their counter-egos (the fictional characters) and come to realize love endures all things. Based on 1 Corinthians 13.

Rehearsal Date Conflicts:
Please provide us any known dates and times you will not be able to be at rehearsals when filling out the online form. The list of rehearsal dates has been listed above. It is very important that everyone makes a committment to being at all of the rehearsals as it is very difficult to rehearse when cast and crew members are not present. By providing known conflict dates, we can plan our rehearsals according to availability of cast. If you have more then two known conflicts we may need to cast some who audition in alternate roles if and when possible.

Required Dates:
-
Tech Day - Tuesday March 12th from 4:30pm - 8:30pm
-
Dress Rehearsal - Wednesday March 13th from 4:30pm - 8:30pm
-
Show Day - Thursday March 14th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm

Show Day - Friday March 15th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm
-
Show Day - Saturday March 16th from 1:45pm - 9:00pm
Important:
All Cast and Crew must commit to being at all tech days, dress rehearsal and show dates. We know that illness and unexpected situations happen, however, participating in live performancing arts requires each cast and crew member to be available for all of these dates and times to be considered for a role.

Audition Application
Please complete the form to audition with FiAt Productions. Our Director, Assistant Director and Technical Director will help to select talent to fill specific roles and those who will be part of the ensemble.
While we wish everyone could be part of each show, it simply is not possible. We will make the experience the best we can for all who audition and if you are not selected for the role you wanted we encourage you to be open to other possibilities when we are able to extend one to you.
While cast and ensemble roles are important, crew positions are equally as important to producing any theatrical production. We invite those auditioning to consider that as a viable option too.

In all cases, we will do our best to teach and provide a faith inspired environment for sharing God's truth, goodness and beauty through the performing arts.
