Agape' Island

Director: Elizabeth Sobczyk

Assitant Director: Mary Ryan

Show Type:

This is a 46 person cast with a comedic theme.

Synopsis:

Seven castaways find themselves shipwrecked on a deserted island.  However, much to their surprise, they find the island isn’t deserted at all, but rather home to many “fictional” island characters, including pirates, mermaids, misfit toys, Captain Fork, Peter Pain, Stinker Bell, the lost children, and even the Dread Pirate Roberto.  Following a humorous storyline, much like Gilligan's Island,  the castaways come to understand what true love is all about.  They are able to see their own faults mirrored through the actions of their counter-egos (the fictional characters) and come to realize love endures all things.  Based on 1 Corinthians 13.

Rehearsal Date Conflicts:

Thank you to everyone for providing your conflict dates. If you have any changes please provide them no later than the first rehearsal. It is very important that everyone makes a committment to being at all of the rehearsals as it is very difficult to rehearse when cast and crew members are not present. By providing known conflict dates, we can plan our rehearsals according to availability of cast. If you have more then two known conflicts we may need to cast some who audition in alternate roles if and when possible.

Required Dates:

  • Tech Day - Tuesday March 12th from 4:30pm - 8:30pm

  • Dress Rehearsal - Wednesday March 13th from 4:30pm - 8:30pm

  • Show Day - Thursday March 14th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm

  • Show Day - Friday March 15th from 4:00pm - 9:00pm

  • Show Day - Saturday March 16th from 1:45pm - 9:00pm

Important:

All Cast and Crew must commit to being at all tech days, dress rehearsal and show dates. We know that illness and unexpected situations happen, however, participating in live performancing arts requires each cast and crew member to be available for all of these dates and times to be considered for a role.

Parent(s) Involvement:

Thank you for sharing your kids with FiAt Productions! We are excited to work with them and learn their many God given talents as we teach and grow together.

We know that this will be a commitement for you to make sure that your kids are on time and that they make it to each of the rehearsals. We will make every effort to stick to our rehearsal and production schedule to respect your time and commitement with us. We also want to extend and encourage parents to be involved. We have many volunteer oportunities and we would like each of you to signup for one of these roles. A list of volunteer roles will be available soon. Watch our web site and your email for more information.

Cost per participant:

In order to make it possible for FiAt Productions to provide quality offerings to teach and promote the truth, goodness and beauty through the performing arts, we currently need to charge a nominal fee to help cover expenses. This fee helps to pay for insurance, costuming, play royalties for scripts and music, snacks for cast and crew during tech days and dinner for cast and crew during productions. The fee to participate in Fiat Productions "Agape' Island" is $55.

Final Step:

You have recieved an email link to accept your cast or crew role and you can make your participant payment of $55 which includes a FiAt Productions show specific t-shirt, as well as, a code for two free tickets to the show. For those who need a receipt for ESA, you will be emailed your payment receipt which will serve for this purpose.
